"Initiation" is a Shield spec I wrote between the sixth and seventh season of the show.  It does not flow perfectly in the continuity of the series for a good reason: while the tension between Shane and the rest of the Strike Team is important, getting bogged down in the exact politics of wouldn't have allowed this script to appeal to people who didn't watch the show.

Anyway, the script may appeal to both Shield fans and people interested in the Warner Bros. Writer's Workshop, as this is the script that got me into the program.
