His fiction has appeared in Thuglit, Out of the Gutter and Demolition and the anthologys Hardcore Hardboiled and Sex, Thugs, and Rock & Roll. His fiction has been shortlisted for the Derringer Awards, the Million Writers Award and Best American Mysteries.

Jordan was born and educated in Missouri. He’s worked as an ad man, a scalper and a professional teevee watcher. He is the former music editor of St. Louis’s Riverfront Times and former DVD critic for Village Voice Media. His reviews and articles have appeared in the Village Voice among other papers. He currently lives in Los Angeles.

Jordan collects trash fiction, true crime books and how-to manuals for dirty deeds.
